Choosing Wisely welcomes submissions which showcase the topics listed below:
Topic 1: Conversations with Consumers and/or shared decision-making
Presentations on this theme should feature work in your organisation which highlights how you have increased consumer input into your Choosing Wisely project, stimulated patient engagement, or used shared decision-making to implement Choosing Wisely in your service. Please include how you have assessed the success in meeting your patients’ needs.
Topic 2: Conversations on evaluating and implementing Choosing Wisely
Presentations in this section should highlight how you are implementing a CW project and how you have/or intend to evaluate the outcomes.
Topic 3: Conversations on equity and Choosing Wisely
Presentations here should feature work your area has done/is doing in relation to Choosing Wisely and equity concerns (primarily in relation to Māori or Pasifika or other underserved populations in NZ).
