We offer the opportunity to submit conference presentations to present non-refereed papers, and workshops.

Please note that all papers and/or presentations will be collated into an online volume of proceedings.

Call for Abstracts

We offer the opportunity to submit conference presentations to present non-refereed papers, and workshops.

The symposium sub-themes for 2016 are:

  • Defining open access
  • Ethical implications regarding setting entry requirements for enabling programs
  • Implementing diagnostic testing
  • The challenges of preparing CALD (Cultural and linguistic diverse) students for university
  • Assessment criteria and benchmarking
  • Establishing models of best practice in enabling programs

Submission Guidelines and Other Information

  • ​Submission date for conference and workshop abstracts is close of business Friday 5 August 2016 (Abstract only required.)
  • Acceptances will be notified by Friday 26 August 2016
  • Please note that all presenters must register for the conference

Research or theory papers:  Sessions will be 30 minutes duration; you should allow 10 minutes of this time for discussion. Submit a 300-500 word abstract including authors’ names and affiliations.

Workshop contributions:  Workshops will be 55 minutes long, contributors will be asked to speak for 15-20 minutes to describe an innovation, share a resource or describe a strategy from their practice, and encourage discussion for the remainder of the time. Submit a 300-500 word abstract including authors’ names and affiliations.
