SECRETS OF AUSTRALIAN I.T. INNOVATION - FIRST PLACE WINNER Yesterday Senator the Hon Helen Coonan, Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts presented Conference Online with 1st Place Winner Certificate in the Commerce Category for the best e-commerce solution. The Secrets of Australian IT Innovation Competition is now in its fourth year and will build on its success in selecting and promoting Australia's most innovative ICT companies and research organisations. The competition is an opportunity for all Australian organisations involved in the ICT sector to present their innovation and technology to a panel of judges drawn from leading research institutions, media, market research organisations and major ICT companies. The competition attracts nearly 200 applications from across Australia to compete for prizes in seven categories—business industrial software solutions, communication applications, commerce, health, security, learning and entertainment.
