The full program can be viewed here and we recommend reading through it before registering for your sessions as there are 24 workshops to choose from.

What does the conference aim to achieve?

This conference aims to create a stronger narrative, and begin a discussion, around utilising nature in children’s lives as an integrated and valuable method to approaching vulnerability and disadvantage across a broad spectrum of environments and circumstances. At the core of a child’s life are the relationships they hold with themselves, their family, their community, and their education setting. Join us as we reflect, challenge and share stories and perspectives around nature for vulnerable and disadvantaged children.

Who is the conference for?

The Conference is for educators and early years care providers, parents, social workers and other allied health professionals, programs working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, playspace designers, service providers in early intervention and community-based programs, local government employees working within community development and open space, and state government employees working with vulnerable and disadvantaged children.
