In June 2009, The Eidos Institute Board will be hosting a breakfast with Ken Smith, Director-General, Department of the Premier and Cabinet
Mr Smith has been the Director-General of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet since September 2007. He has also been Queensland’s Co-ordinator General and Director-General in the Departments of Infrastructure, Education and the Arts, Employment and Training, Families Youth and Community Care and Housing local Government and Planning.
In his first public presentation on this topic, Ken Smith will outline and Q&A the Queensland Public Service’s new architecture and his vision for greater integration and effectiveness of service delivery. The most significant public sector reform in almost two decades, creating six clusters, will be of interest to leaders in government, business and higher education.
